Overview
The Project PMO is responsible for project programming and planning, monitoring performance and ensuring standardised project delivery across construction projects. This role acts as the central control function for planning, programming, risk, reporting, and coordination, enabling project leadership to make informed decisions and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within defined quality and safety performance parameters.

Responsibilities
Planning and Scheduling Oversight
- Ability to create from scratch L5-L7 detailed construction schedules in MS Project or Primavera,
- Monitor baseline vs. actual progress across multiple projects
- Identify delays, critical path impacts, and recovery plans
- Standardize WBS (Work Breakdown Structures) across projects
Construction Performance Monitoring
- Define KPIs and track project performance
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Implement lessons learned and best practices across projects
Project Governance & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation including schedules, cost and budget, reports, decision logs, quality assurance and risk registers.
- Support governance processes including milestone tracking and reporting cadence.
- Prepare structured reporting to project teams, management, and executive leadership (including ExCom / IC).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery tools, templates, and processes.
Schedule & Milestone Management
- Develop and maintain the integrated project construction schedule and track progress against key milestones.
- Monitor critical path activities and highlight potential delays or risks, and recovery plans to the Project Director.
- Coordinate inputs across teams to ensure alignment of schedules and dependencies.
- Support mitigation planning to address schedule risks.
Project Planning & Delivery Coordination
- Support the development and execution of project delivery plans from site evaluation through development readiness.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including acquisition, design, engineering, utilities, finance, and legal.
- Track progress of project activities and ensure deliverables are completed in line with agreed timelines.
- Manage day-to-day project coordination across internal teams and external consultants.
Risk and Issue Management
- Maintain the project risk and issue registers.
- Identify project risks, conduct impact analysis, and track mitigation plans
- Track mitigation actions and ensure timely follow-up with responsible teams.
- Escalate emerging risks and constraints that may impact schedule or delivery.
Document Control & Data Management
- Implement document management systems and version control
- Ensure proper tracking of drawings, RFIs, submittals, and approvals
- Maintain project records for audits and compliance
- Train teams on PMO standards and project tools
Stakeholder Communication
- Coordinate communication across internal teams to ensure alignment on priorities, deliverables, and timelines.
- Prepare project updates and progress reports for project leadership and management review.
- Support stakeholder meetings and maintain documentation of decisions and action items.
Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
- Be a custodian of safety, permeating a safety culture and an injury/incident free workplace as the leading importance for the organisation.
- Enforce strict adherence to defined EHS standards and processes and zero-incident culture. Be a joint leader and advocate of the on-site safety training program.
- Lead initiatives to enhance offsite manufacturing, pre-manufacturing, containerisation and other initiatives to reduce waste, lower carbon emissions and enhance on-site safety.
Experience, skills and competencies (Mandatory)
- 12–15+ years of experience in project management with real estate development or related industries.
- At least 3–5 years on data center, mission-critical projects and large-scale construction project experience.
- Experience with hyperscale or colocation facilities is highly valued.
- Strong project controls (planning, programming, cost, risk) expertise.
- Knowledge of construction lifecycle and delivery models (EPC, Design-Build, etc.)
Desirable qualifications / professional certification (if applicable)
University degree in Engineering.
